Lowe's Home Improvement

This is my second commercial, shot in August of 2002. It was a lot of fun to be in it, though if you blink, you'll miss me. To find me, listen to Gene Hackman's voiceover. He's talking about the kinds of windows Lowe's has and that they'll "even install them for you". When he says that, you can see me pushing a window up into the frame.

You might notice that it takes two people to prop up a window. You might even notice a blurry figure on the other end of the window. That's Bill Timoney. He's a veteran NY-based actor, who's been in lots of commercials, films and theatre productions. Through no fault of his own he was asked to be on the right end of the window frame, farthest from camera, which meant he's not visible in the shot.

While we waited for our brief moment on camera, he told me great stories about the people he's worked with. He even helped me out when I got stung by a bee. Bill's a great guy, which is why I was sorry that you can't make him out in the spot.
