For 5 episodes over 1994 and 1995 I worked on MTV's House of Style as a camera assistant. Back then, Cindy Crawford was still the pretty face of the show.
During one shoot for the Valentine's Day episode, we were in the Pelican Hotel in Miami. The producer forgot to get an actor for the part of a "geeky" flower delivery man. So, with our shooting time running out, the producer decided I was a geek and hurried me to put on a blue shirt, shave, and deliver flowers to Cindy.
I was extremely nervous, having been called into service under duress. Because of that, I kept on screwing up my one line "Flower delivery." Granted, that's a pretty simple line to screw up--a testament to how ill at ease I was. Seeing that I was nervous, and being an expert actress (her performance in "Fair Game" says it all) and compassionate person, Cindy knew just what to do. She ridiculed me in front of the crew. What better way to put a fellow actor at ease than by shrieking "He really is a geek"?
As they would say on Entertainment Tonight: "Cindy Crawford, class act."
The clip to the left is from the final "blooper" episode of House of Style. The bit as it aired, is on the next page.

Cindy and Fed during happier times.
