Buenos Aires

In April of 2006, Linden and I went to Buenos Aires, Argentina on vacation. It was her first time there ever, and my first trip back in at least 8 years. We all the usual things like visiting the city, enjoying the sights and eating out all the time. We visited a lot of the areas that I frequented as a kid, and ate all the food I missed. I really missed Argentine asado (barbeque). It really is the best in the world.

The best things we did, in my opinion, was to visit with my old friends Cecilia and Reinaldo. Each one now has their own family now, but we spent a lot of time together as kids. I really missed them. You know that someone is a good friend when you can start right back up where you left off, as if time hadn't passed.

Part of what made the trip so great was the fact that my mother went down at the same time. She proudly showed us around, and told us stories about what we were seeing.
