Oh my God, oh my God
I was flying it. The wind was pretty severe above the tree line and there was plenty of ooing and aahing as the plane would stall or flip around because of a strong gust. For the most part, though. I did pretty well. I even managed to do a few loops. When I thought I had tempted fate enough, I brought it in for a landing.
The problem was, I had set the idle speed too high and I was coming in for a landing too fast. Plus there was a cross wind which made it very hard for me.
When I realized that I was going to overshoot the runway, I powered up to gain altitude (I was about 3 feet off the ground), and make another pass. A perfect plan, except for the trees.
