Do you ever get obsessed about something? I'm not talking about something weird, like refusing to let people photograqh you for fear of losing your soul. What I mean is eating hummus for a whole month or learning to play the "Speed Racer" theme song on the xylophone. Or, what I became obsessed about: a fantastic up and coming German pop band called Wir Sind Helden. A friend of mine who is of German decent introduced to them, in exchange for my introducing him to Puffy Amiyumi.

After listening to their music a lot, and visiting their website, I learned that they were on tour and had a new album coming out. Linden and I had talked about talking a short trip somewhere and Germany seemed like a good idea. So I planned a trip for us to see Munich and catch Wir Sind Helden in concert. It was a great getaway. Good times.
