Hugo Boss Shoot
In December of 2003, Hugo Boss hired me to create a video for their holiday party. The idea was to have the employees punk'd. We came up with the idea of pretending that I was the host of a Spanish television fashion show called "Hora de Moda" ("The
Fashion Hour"). Katja Douedari and Melissa Garbayo, in charge of marketing at the time, really liked the idea and got the
backing of Tony Lucia, the President of Hugo Boss, USA.
I played the part of Federico Malco, the host of the show. Arlene Tur and Rachele Chafir did an amazing job as "Las Chicas
de la Moda", and actor Brendan McLoughlin was perfect pretending to be both Leonardo DiCaprio and Derek Jeter's assistants.
The rest of the of the crew consisted of Jacob Schwirtz (asst. director), Dan McCoy (camera), Brad Bergbom (sound), Francelle Daly (makeup) and Jacques Duvoisin (grip).
I wasn't able to attend the event where the film was presented to the employees, but I got word back that they really enjoyed
it. Tony Lucia's brother, Chuck, because a centerpiece of the video and was a great sport.
