Montreal 2005

In early October of 2005, Linden and I took a short vacation in Montreal. In general, we really enjoyed Montreal. The old part of Montreal is quaint and has an old world feel. The newer, more modern parts of Montreal are also enjoyable. We ate at great restaurants, I got to practice my French, and people were polite and helpful. Our only regret was that we perhaps went for too long. We would have been better served by a shorter trip, say 3 days, instead of the 5 we took. Montreal is not as large a city as say Paris or New York and there is less to do and see. We'd recommend anyone go visit, however. It's like a bit of Europe in North America.
