"New" Montreal
The newer parts of Montreal have a different feel from Old Montreal. The city is clean and well laid out. It's also spread
out wide, almost like a dense suburb, rather than a city. Finding the points of interest took quite a bit of walking or jumping
in a reasonably-priced cab. The downtown area is architecturally rich and has an underground district with bars, restaurants, stores and subway access. During the coldest months it keeps Montreal natives warm.
