Le Chateau de Versailles
On Saturday, January 3rd, 2004, Linden and I took a trip to see Versailles. I had forgotten just how big and imposing it was. A little tip: When you buy your train ticket to Versailles (at the RER
C station), go for the package ticket. It includes a roundtrip ticket to the nearest train station, and an express Versailles
entry ticket, which includes the audio tour. The cost when we went was around $35 Euros ($17 Euros each), which turned to
be a very good deal. Not only was it only $1-2 Euros more than if we had purchased the tickets separately, it saved us at
least 30 minutes of not having to wait in the enormous ticket line.
