Fed and Linden's Trip to Spain: Nov 8-18, 2001

In November of 2001 Linden and I went on vacation to Spain. We spent most of our time in Barcelona, and for a couple of days rented a car and visited some nearby towns. These are the 300 images that we took during our 10 days abroad. I've tried to include annecdotes to accompany groups or individual images to give the viewer a sense of our travels.

We had an amazing time during our visit. It was probably the best vacation I ever had. The fact that Linden was with me in no small part contributed to the extent to which I enjoyed myself. She is a great travel companion and I love her very much. I hope you enjoy viewing the images as much as we enjoyed taking them.

Note on the images:
You will undoubtedly notice that some of the images are blurry. That is due to my attempt at hand-holding long exposure shots when either a flash would have been useless or forbidden. For example, I was technically not allowed to take pictures in the Palau de la Musica Catalana. So, in order to take them undetected, I turned the flash off.

  We spent most of our time in this beautiful city. The people were very nice and the sites were breathtaking. There too many beautiful buildings and plazas to take in, but we did our best.
