Orient Beach

There are some 39 beaches on the shores of St. Martin, from rocky, isolated strips, to wide, sandy, popular ones. Most of our beach time was spent at Orient Beach, located on a bay on the eastern half of the French side. It was lined with lots of different restaurants, bars and rows of umbrellas. The cost per day was $15 if you wanted protection from the sun, otherwise it was free. At one end is the fabled Club Orient, a nudist club.
