As my tour book says, "Turkey really is where it all began." This is a country I've always wanted to visit as it's rich with ancient history, nomadic civilizations and was ruled by so many empires it's hard to keep track. As my friend Annie and I narrowed down the places we wished to visit, Turkey rose to the top of the list. We picked 2 cities, Bodrum, the St. Tropez of Turkey's Agean Sea and Istanbul.
