Ayasofya
Also known as the Hagia Sophia which we all studied in Art History. Completed in 537 a.d., this triumph in Byzantine architecture
has been a church, in 1204 it was stripped down by the Crusaders, in 1453 Mehmet II declared it a mosque and now stands as
a museum.
